Homefront: The Revolution’s Ending Credits Feature a Note About its Troubled Development

Homefront: The Revolution‘s creators have left a short, three-paragraph note following the game’s ending credits, discussing its troubled development history and thanking those who stuck around to see the project through.

The note, titled ‘A Word from the Game Director,’ sees Studio Head Hasit Zala discussing how creating “a game of this size and complexity with a relatively small team” is a “remarkable achievement,” along with acknowledging how the game had gone through “several reboots, the original publisher going into liquidation, [and] the development studio changing ownership.”

Homefront: The Revolution has released to mixed reviews, with many citing performance issues with the game. Digital Foundry discovered that there were some notable frame rate problems, with it even dipping below 20 fps in some sections, with its lack of polish believed to have been the result of the troubles its developer Deep Silver has had with getting the game off the ground.
