Rick Ross & Jay Z Team Up For ‘Movin Bass’ – But Where’s The Bass?

Rick Ross and Jay Z continue their collaborative run today with the drop for “Movin’ Bass,” off Ross’ second album of the year, Hood Billionaire (out Nov. 24).

The chiefs of Maybach Music Group and Roc Nation pull Timbaland in for production on the track, which we can’t help but notice is lacking ironically in the bass zone. It’s a slow-starter, but once the momentum gets going the track is a solid one. Jay’s talent is a bit squandered, as he’s relegated to the chorus, but we’ll take it.
