Before Carla Bruni was French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife, she was singer and model who basically just modeled her tits. At an auction yesterday, a Chinese art collector bought one of her topless photos from 1993. The Sun says:
A nude photo of French first lady Carla Bruni has smashed its auction estimate and sold for more than £45,000 in New York. The image of President Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife was taken by photographer Michel Comte 15 years ago and shows a younger, nude Ms Bruni facing the camera with her hands crossed at her waist. A buyer for a Chinese art collector yesterday bought the black-and-white 1993 photo for $91,000 – more than 22 times its estimate of $1,500 to $2,000, auction house Christies said.”
