Jurassic World, Blade Runner & Flash vs. Arrow on Most Craved

It’s Thursday, and yes, it’s Thanksgiving, but that doesn’t mean you have to go without Most Craved, the weekly entertainment news web series that analyzes all the latest trending stories. This week, Jenna Busch of Legion of Leia, Silas Lesnick of Coming Soon and William Bibbiani of CraveOnline are here to sift through three huge stories that are getting all of us excited, and making some of us a little concerned.

The First Jurassic World Trailer

Audiences got their first look at Jurassic World this week, but what did we really see? Is Colin Trevorrow’s film reminding us a little too much of Jaws 3D? Does it look like there’s too much CGI in Jurassic World? Or are we past the era when CGI and practical effects would be combined in a big budget blockbuster?

Blade Runner 2 Needs a New Director

Ridley Scott has bowed out of the director’s chair of the Blade Runner sequel. Who should fill his shoes? Should the studio find a tried-and-true sci-fi director or take a chance on a lesser known filmmaker with fresh ideas? And will the plot, about finding Harrison Ford’s character from the original film, have a negative impact on the ambiguous ending of Ridley Scott’s original?

Flash vs. Arrow

The premiere TV superheroes are gearing up for a big fight in next week’s crossover episodes. Who will win? Is this the kick in the arm this season of “Arrow” needs to get exciting again? Is there a place for superpowered characters in the more grounded world of “Arrow?”
