Becky Lynch: Ric Flair’s Tweet About Me Is ‘Really Sad’, Flair Responds

Charlotte isn’t the only Flair that Becky Lynch has been clashing with recently.

On Monday, Ric Flair tweeted that he’d have to attend WWE Survivor Series to personally see his daughter, Charlotte face Lynch. He claimed there’s “not enough choreography in the business” to save the reignig WWE RAW Women’s Champion.

During an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, Lynch shared her thoughts on Ric’s tweet and stated that it was “really sad” because it showed that the two-timeWWE Hall of Famer is jealous of her.

“Look, I saw that tweet, the one that you’re referring to, the one that I’m kind of referring to,” said Lynch. “And I looked at it, and I wrote out a response that would have really been quite biting. And I deleted it, and I let it go because I think it’s really sad. Because this is a legend at one point, who’s now, this legend, 16-time world champion Ric Flair is now jealous of me? And that’s cool for me, and [he] is now trying to use me to get clout to promote whatever he has going on next, because he’s dig himself a hole with other things. So I kinda just was like, let me let him at it because it’s kind of sad. You know? It’s kind of sad.”

Flair responded with a tweet in which he said he’s “so disappointed” with Lynch’s comments. He noted that he gave up his ownership of “The Man” trademark to WWE “out of respect” for Lynch. He emphasized that, trademark or no trademark, he’ll always be the man.
