Eddie Kingston And CM Punk Face To Face Announced For 11/5 AEW Rampage, Updated Card

Tensions continue to rise between CM Punk and Eddie Kingston.

After “The Mad King” confronted Punk backstage on last week’s episode of AEW Rampage, “The Second City Saint” sent his new adversary a message on the November 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. Though Kingston was absent, Punk responded to Kingston’s decision to get in his face by saying there was no reason for a problem between the two. He also noted that Kingston might have some warped perception of their past interactions.

Punk went on to say that, because he was so focused on dealing with Kingston, he couldn’t accept a spot in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament when Jon Moxley had to withdraw from it. (Miro wound up taking this slot and winning the bout on the November 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.)

Punk made it clear that he wants to deal with Kingston face-to-face on the November 5 episode of AEW Rampage; Punk stated that he’ll be waiting for Kingston to apologize for his actions.

The updated card is as follows:

  • Adam Cole vs. John Silver
  • CM Punk and Eddie Kingston meet Face-To-Face
  • AEW TBS Women’s Championship Tournament: The Bunny vs. Red Velvet
