Their opponents were the promising prospects Top Flight (Darius and Daunte Martin), who were making their AEW Dynamite debut in the match. While the pair of brothers weren’t in the official AEW Rankings, the Young Bucks said that they wanted to make Top Flights stars like the Motor City Machine Guns did for them in TNA. While Top Flight might not be stars per se just yet, they certainly gained a lot by being competitive with the current champs.

After the Bucks retained, The Hybrid 2 started to attack Top Flight and were ran off by the champs.
