The Chairman of the Board is having a rough Monday. More so than usual even. With falling ratings for WWE’s Monday Night flagship, the search for a venue to host SummerSlam outside of Orlando continuing, and the news that The Rock has purchased what remained of his XFL redo, Vince McMahon has a lot on his mind. According to backstage reports provided by reporter Gary Cassidy, today’s tapings have been especially chaotic.

According to Cassidy’s tweets, tonight’s Raw is still being changed from moment to moment, and next week’s show is incomplete. This might explain why Shane McMahon was announced to be returning to WWE TV after months only hours before RAW was set to air rather than in some sort of prior angle or big reveal.
These reports are similar to reports the wrestling community has heard for weeks and weeks, and it seems that Bruce Pritchard’s addition as a creative head has not stopped the chaos. Whatever does end up airing on RAW, just know to expect the unexpected.
