Finn Balor has been looking to get some momentum back after being attacked a couple of weeks ago, but he suffered another setback during his match tonight against Cameron Grimes.
During the match, Balor looked ready to take down Grimes until he was the victim of another attack, this time at the hands of Damian Priest. Priest appeared at ringside during Balor’s match, and after Balor was knocked out of the ring by Grimes, Priest quickly began attacking his knee with a nightstick. After getting back into the ring, Balor was hit with the Cave In by Grimes, who pinned the superstar for the win.
Following the match, Priest continued his assault on Balor, hitting him with the Reckoning onto a chair. From there, he pressed a chair down onto Balor’s neck, sitting on the chair to choke him. As he sat, Priest revealed it was he who attacked Balor three weeks ago, saying that if he wanted his name to live forever, he needed to take out a Prince.
