Details On When Jake Hager Can Start Wrestling In AEW

While a key part of All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite show, we haven’t seen Jake Hager actually perform inside the ring yet. It turns out there is a good reason for it.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), Hager can’t compete in an actual wrestling match until after his upcoming Bellator MMA fight. Thankfully for fans, his upcoming bout is in just one week on Oct. 25 against 4-2 heavyweight Anthony Garrett. After that, he’ll be able to wrestle in AEW freely.

As previously noted, Hager trains five days a week in mixed martial arts, but takes off Tuesday and Wednesday in order to do AEW Dynamite.
