While the USA Network will be losing SmackDown to Fox come October, they might have a replacement in the form of NXT.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE is currently pitching the idea of having NXT air live weekly head-to-head against All Elite Wrestling on TNT. The show would be moved to two hours and still emanate from Full Sail University. If it goes forward, it would begin airing on Oct. 2.
Previous rumors have pointed at FS1 being a television home for NXT. Of course, this is just a pitch to the network and nothing is confirmed yet. So whether or not AEW will go up against NXT each week remains to be seen.
