Ric Flair Goes After Former Agent In New Video, Says ‘She Actually Embezzled Money From Me’

Ric Flair took to YouTube once again to set his sights on a wrong doer tugging against the “Nature Boy’s” sequined robe and it was his former agent, lawyer and friend, Melinda Morris Zanoni of Legacy Talent, who he also recommended to his wrestling colleagues in the past.

In the video, Flair goes into detail about what she did to him, including stealing money and letting his infamous trademarks run out before WWE stepped in and saved them. Flair has since then gotten a new attorney and he’s ready to strut into the courthouse if need be. Quotes are below:

“I woke up two weeks ago today to find out my trademarks “Ric Flair,” “Woooo,” “Nature Boy” had all been dropped, well not dropped, but saved by my friends, the WWE, because Melinda Morris Zanoni—okay, let’s just start with the fact that she stole money from me, she actually embezzled money from me, it’s documented, I got the records and I’ve talked to an attorney, prior to making this video…”

“In this case, a ten year friendship and ten years my agent, I haven’t heard from you, I haven’t got as much as a text. All, a threatening phone call on an anonymous line, telling her not to ‘F’ with you, really? You think that scared her? Well we had to hire a lawyer, you know, and we got nothing back. So I ran this by a lawyer today, this is all new, and I actually am asking you, and telling you to sue me if you want to, cause I’m going to say what I think, knowing that everything I’m saying about you is factual.

“You took money for me when I was down, you gave out incorrect social media—which thank God my friends shut down and thank God my wife who has two Masters degrees is smarter than you any day of the week was able to jump in and save this.

Flair continues to say he has hired a new lawyer a big attorney in the city of Charlotte by the name of John Vuric.

“So be advised when you’re talking about me, I finally have someone by my side, John Vuric…that’s guiding me through every word I say.

“How dare you let my trademarks go. Thanks to the WWE I still have them, not because of you. And now I have paperwork to prove that you were reminded by the trademark people, six different times over three months to renew my trademark or they had to let it go, really. That’s you. I don’t know, this is so overdue. I’m telling you, Melinda, I don’t know how you live with yourself. 20 years friendship, ten years my agent, not a text, you didn’t drive down to the hospital, you just didn’t give a shit and you assumed I was going to die, like a lot of people that did, and you just grabbed all the money you could run with, and you did. And then imagine that, I got to hire a lawyer when I’m not working and attempt to get it back. Well that law firm was frail, they didn’t do a good job. I got a law firm now that’s gonna stand tall. And once again, I’m inviting you: John Vuric, the living legend, man.

“I know one thing is for sure and thank God, you’re not representing me anymore and I’m so apologetic to Sting and Kurt Angle and anybody, even Mick Foley that I sent your way. Guys, I’m sorry, I apologize, a thief is a thief no matter how you look at it.”

Flair had previously sued Zanoni in 2017 after he accused her of stealing $46,000 from him, including money tied to his ESPN ’30 For 30′ special. Flair had been represented by Zanoni and Legacy Talent between 2009 and 2017.
