Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes have reunited for a brand new project. However, for the fans of Jay & Silent Bob, there is a surprise awaiting.
Smith and Mewes are well-known for portraying the comedy duo Jay and Silent Bob. The characters have appeared in Clerks, Clerks II, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Both characters belong to a fictional universe known as the View Askewniverse. Thus, when reports surfaced about the actors’ reunion, fans expected that the crowd-favorite characters of Jay and Silent Bob would also come back.
However, that’s not the case. Smith and Mewes have joined hands for a new project, namely, Big City Greens season 5. While they are not reprising their iconic characters, the duo will play a couple of malnourished coyotes named Dave and Ricky. Both these coyotes will try to sneak in on the farm animals of the Greens.

Stalter will come in as Wendy Woolery, a character who is interested in knitwear. Sprouse will play Tyler, a character set up on a date with Gloria, who is played by Anna Akana.
The plot of The Big City Greens revolves around a 10-year-old country boy named Cricket Green, played by Chris Houghton.
