Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Announce First Joint Trip Abroad Since UK Return — Report

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s reported trip to Brussels next week will mark their first joint overseas trip since they moved back to the UK. After spending six years in California, the couple and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, returned to the Prince’s home country in August 2026 for an extended period. The children have also reportedly begun attending school in the UK.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly head to Brussels on joint overseas trip

Since their move to the UK, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made one joint public appearance in Nottingham, where they visited some charities. Having spent some time out of the spotlight in the weeks since, they will allegedly head to Brussels, Belgium’s capital, on November 10, for their first trip abroad after their return to the UK.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will open the Lost Screen Memorial in Brussels (via PEOPLE). For those unfamiliar with the project, it honors children who lost their lives following harmful experiences on social media. The installation consists of 50 smartphone screens, each displaying the lock-screen photograph of a child whose life was lost. The images were provided by bereaved parents connected to the Archewell Foundation’s Parents’ Network, highlighting the need for safer online spaces.

The Sussexes will reportedly give a keynote address in Brussels, emphasizing the importance of measures to ensure children’s digital safety. Further, Prince Harry will participate in a panel discussion in Belgium titled “Beyond Promises: Building a Digital Future That Works for Children.”

In April 2025, Prince Harry and his wife unveiled the installation in New York. Further, Markle brought the Lost Screen Memorial to Geneva’s Place des Nations during her May 2026 trip to Switzerland. World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, global health leaders, and families affected by online harm joined her at the event.
