Royal expert reveals which royal family member tried to broker peace between Prince Harry and Prince William
Royal editor Emily Andrews has disclosed that prominent royal family couple Zara and Mike Tindall have reportedly tried to mediate peace between Prince Harry and Prince William. Andrews revealed to Woman & Home that the Duke of Sussex shares a warm relationship with the Tindalls.
The royal editor has been told that Mike is repeatedly trying to get the brothers together under one roof and reconcile with each other over dinner or drinks. Unfortunately, it hasn’t materialised as planned. “It came to naught,” Andrews wrote in a straightforward manner.
Andrews also commented on how Mike may now view Harry. “And Mike recently made a quip about a time long ago ‘when Harry was fun’,” she wrote, suggesting it could reflect his current feelings about the Duke. The royal editor suggested that although Harry and Mike may have grown apart, Mike’s reported efforts suggest he hoped to help Harry reconcile with William. Furthermore, Andrews has written that she now believes that only King Charles can drill some sense into his sons’ heads.
This tidbit of information comes to light after the Duke of Sussex expressed his desire to reconcile with Charles and William in a new interview with GQ. Harry said he wanted to reconcile with his father and brother, adding that “some people don’t want it to work out.” However, a spokesperson later clarified that the comment was not directed at William or any other family member.
