A new report claims Jennifer Lopez has undergone cosmetic breast surgery as part of her desire to embrace the “sexy mom” look. The alleged procedure comes a year after the star reportedly expressed interest in the enhancement.

A new profile on Jennifer Lawrence by The Cut confirms that the Hunger Games star underwent breast surgery. It also reported that she intends to have a facelift at some point in the future. “I want to be a sexy mom,” Lawrence explained. “At drop-off, I want to look like a woman that has her s— together even when I’ve just woken up and don’t have my s— together.”
Notably, Lawrence shares two sons with her husband Cooke Maroney, an art gallery director. The first one was born in February 2022, followed by the second son in early 2025.
During her interview with The New Yorker in October 2025, Lawrence noted that she was weighing options about getting the surgery. “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” she observed when asked why she wanted the surgery. “Second one, nothing bounced back.”
The Die My Love actress added that she would still get the procedure done if she were not a popular Hollywood star. “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way,” she stated. “But I think yes.” In the same interview, she also spoke about wanting to get a facelift.
Later, in a September 2026 interview with Vogue, Lawrence admitted that she isn’t able to “really get very much done” to her face, even though she believes in facials. She added, “I need to have movement in my face. I get baby Botox, but I can’t do a lot,” likely referring to small doses of Botox.
Jennifer Lawrence will soon return as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. She is also working with Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese on the gothic supernatural horror film What Happens at Night.
