Filming for The Housemaid’s Secret is already underway in New Jersey. Sydney Sweeney, Michele Morrone, and Stephen Kalyn have been spotted filming. Now, another batch of photos and videos has surfaced online.
Sydney Sweeney and Off Campus star Stephen Kalyn were photographed together. The pair were filming scenes in Hoboken, New Jersey. Sweeney wore a black floral dress with a white cardigan. Kalyn appeared in a dark green suit.
The two were seen sitting together and chatting between takes. They also filmed several scenes for the upcoming movie. Other photos showed Kalyn wearing sunglasses and greeting people nearby. Sweeney returns as Millie Calloway in the upcoming sequel. Michele Morrone also reprises his role as Enzo.
The latest appearance has brought fresh attention to the movie. The original The Housemaid became a major box-office success, earning over $400 million worldwide. Following the success Lionsgate greenlit the sequel less than a month after release.
Sweeney and Morrone are confirmed to return, with Paul Feig directing the sequel. Kirsten Dunst joined the cast in March in an undisclosed role. Paul Anthony Kelly will play Douglas Garrick in the sequel, with Brittany Snow also joining the cast.
Meanwhile, Amanda Seyfried’s potential return remains unconfirmed. She appeared in the original movie, but no update has emerged for the sequel. Fans will have to wait for further casting announcements. The sequel follows Millie as she accepts another housekeeping job.
The Housemaid’s Secret is scheduled for theatrical release on December 17, 2027.
