Lounging around on a sunny afternoon gave way to one very ambitious “what if.” Khloe Kardashian was relaxing outdoors when her mom, Kris Jenner, began handing out dating advice. What started as a casual chat soon turned into a full-blown hypothetical love story about soulmates in a new clip from “The Kardashians.”

The clip was shared on Instagram by the official Kardashians’ Hulu account. Kris Jenner sets the scene with a question. “Did you ever consider that you could meet somebody on Saturday night that was your person?” she asks. A disinterested Kardashian replies, “Where am I going Saturday night?”
Her mother did not let it go. “Hypothetical!” Jenner says, asking her daughter to “just go with my fantasy.” She also adds, “Let’s roll with it for a second.” From there, the dating advice becomes a full storyline. “You fall in love,” Jenner says. She goes on to describe two people who “can’t live without being with each other for the rest of your lives.” Then comes the crucial detail of needing to “have a baby together.”
This is where Kardashian pushes back with a sharp “No.” Undeterred, Jenner asks another question, “What if you meet someone who doesn’t have a child?” However, the exchange does little to change Kardashian’s mind, who says, “I’m not dealing with two different men for the rest of my life.”
Mom to Tatum and True Thompson, Kardashian leaves no room for negotiation. “There’s just not a chance,” the Khloud founder says, before repeating, “Not a chance on any level.” Throughout the clip, Jenner keeps the mood playful in her questioning, while Kardashian keeps her answers short and firm. Their exchange on “The Kardashians” shows that the 42-year-old is clearly unmoved by her mom’s romantic scenario.
Notably, Kardashian shares her two children with ex-partner Tristan Thompson. The reality TV star has earlier shared her dilemmas about wanting to have another child, this time a daughter, using one of her frozen embryos.
Regarding Jenner’s hypothetical scenario, though, Hulu itself joked in the comments section, writing “an abrupt end to the fantasy.”
