Prince Harry & Meghan Markle ‘Excited’ for Next Move After UK Return — Source

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly looking forward to their joint public engagement this week. They will be heading to Nottingham, where they first appeared publicly together following their engagement announcement in 2017. This comes amid the Sussexes’ ongoing security concerns and renewed attention to their recently clarified royal status.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ‘excited’ for UK outing

Prince Harry and Markle are “excited” to make a public appearance on Thursday. This outing will mark their first one ever since they returned from the US to the UK. They are visiting Nottingham for charity visits similar to the ones they did when they were working royals. According to The Times UK, they will head to three charities that support young people and communities through music, film, sport, and initiatives dealing with food poverty. Their three stops are as follows: Community Recording Studio, Himmah Food Bank, and Epic Partners.

During their first stop, they will take part in music and acting workshops. Markle may also participate in the acting session. They will then meet members of the Hubb Community Kitchen, a community initiative established to support survivors of the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire through food. Their final stop will be an organization that offers mentoring and sporting opportunities for young people.

The Times reported that the charity visits could set a pattern for the couple’s future public engagements in the UK. The Sussexes returned to Britain in August 2026, following a private reunion with King Charles. Reports suggest they have settled in the Cotswolds, although they continue to face security concerns. Their return has also prompted renewed discussion of their royal status after Buckingham Palace clarified that they should be regarded as private citizens and that their charitable work is not undertaken on behalf of the royal family.
