Natalie Harp used her first published interview to describe life inside Donald Trump’s White House. However, her answers repeatedly returned to the president himself. The 35-year-old aide discussed age, her job, and the administration’s pace while portraying Trump as a leader who recognizes talents others may miss.
Donald Trump’s White House aide offered unusually effusive praise in a rare interview
Natalie Harp’s most direct praise came when Washingtonian asked whether being a woman in her 30s had helped or hindered her career. Harp first replied, “Age is just a number,” then shifted toward Trump and his ability to identify potential across age and gender. She said his Cabinet’s “diversity in skill, talent, and backgrounds” had created a “dynamic unit.”
Harp then summed up that assessment with a six-word phrase: “unprecedented WINS for the American People.” She used the line while describing what she said the Cabinet had achieved under Trump.
The interview also showed how closely Harp’s responses resemble Trump’s familiar language. When asked about the hardest part of her White House role, she wrote that Washington, D.C., does not operate at the “speed of ‘TRUMP!’” She argued that the administration has only four years to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” and said the “Radical Left” was trying to slow the president’s momentum.
The exchange came to light through Washingtonian’s 2026 “300 Most Powerful Women” coverage, which included Harp’s full email replies. Communications Director Steven Cheung reportedly passed the responses to the magazine after receiving them from Harp. The publication also flagged that her use of capitalization and overall tone bore similarities to the way Trump writes on Truth Social.
Harp’s role inside Trump’s orbit has fueled plenty of curiosity. As one of his special and executive assistants, she handles a steady stream of printed material for the president. This includes coverage that portrays him favorably. That work has earned her the “human printer” nickname.
Harp’s responsibilities reportedly stretch into Trump’s social media operation as well. She was also seen with Trump during a covert flight from Turkey in July.
