Prince Harry Brutally Torched Over ‘Lowbrow’ Diana Documentary Move — Report

Prince Harry may be revisiting one of the most personal chapters of his public life as reports indicate that he is considering another Diana documentary. However, this time, the timing hasn’t gone unnoticed. With 2027 marking the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death, not everyone believes the project is about honoring his mother.

Megyn Kelly calls Prince Harry’s alleged Diana documentary move ‘exploitative’

Talk show host Megyn Kelly, appearing on News 24, addressed the reported plans and did not mince words. She pointed out that Prince Harry and his brother, Prince William, already made a documentary for the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death. A second project for the 30th, she argued, feels unnecessary. “It’s a little odd and feels somewhat exploitative,” Kelly said.

Kelly tied the timing to Harry’s finances rather than sentiment. She noted that a fresh Diana documentary would conveniently slot into his Netflix first-look deal at a moment when, in her view, that arrangement needs fresh material. She also pointed to a recent UK legal judgment that reportedly left Harry facing high legal costs.

Add to this the financial strain of upkeep for two properties, one in the UK and one in Montecito. Taken together, Kelly argued, the circumstances suggest a need for cash rather than a genuine tribute to his mother. “It just feels very commercial and lowbrow,” she said.

Kelly added that she would view the project differently if it came from Prince William instead. According to her, William’s position and lack of financial motive would make him a more fitting messenger for his mother’s legacy. She did not suggest he was planning to do so.

The host of The Megyn Kelly Show further echoed the concern that Earl Spencer’s memoir on Diana has already invited public scrutiny of the late Princess’s life rather than reinforcing admiration for her. She closed by suggesting Harry could better serve his mother’s memory privately by sharing her story with his children, Archie,7, and Lilibet, 5, instead of turning it into further public content with a new documentary.
