Meghan Markle’s Name Comes up at Dinner & One Guest ‘Almost Left’ — Expert

An expert claims that Meghan Markle is facing several challenges as she adjusts to life in the Cotswolds. According to the expert, gaining acceptance within the local community remains her biggest hurdle. She also recalled an incident at a dinner party where a guest reportedly threatened to leave after the conversation turned to Prince Harry’s wife.

Expert recounts one guest nearly leaving after Meghan Markle came up at a Cotswolds dinner

The Telegraph’s Eilidh Hargreaves detailed the challenges Meghan Markle is reportedly facing in the Cotswolds after leaving the US behind with Prince Harry and their children. “The challenge of becoming a member of the Daylesford scene won’t be the only uphill battle for Meghan as she seeks to become accepted in the Cotswolds,” she added.

The expert also recalled an incident at a grand dinner party last Saturday, where a social friend reportedly conducted an experiment. Hargreaves said she sat next to several men and began talking about Markle, noting that one guest almost walked out. The man in question then said, “‘If you say that word one more time…'”

Hargreaves also discussed the reported views of the Sussexes’ neighbors following their return to the UK. She elaborated, “So it wasn’t only ‘We don’t want anything to do with her’, but ‘Do not degrade my house by bringing it up.”’

Ahead of their return, a source claimed that Harry’s idea of returning to the UK differed from Markle’s. According to the source, Markle was unhappy about the move because she believed they had left the country for a reason. She reportedly feared that returning would expose them to the same pressures and scrutiny that contributed to their decision to leave in the first place.

The Sussexes arrived in the UK more than a month after their private reunion with King Charles. They are currently staying in private accommodation and are not provided with taxpayer-funded security.
