Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were reportedly warned to “keep their mouths shut” if they hope to rebuild trust with Prince William. Experts suggested that further public comments, interviews, or complaints could jeopardize any chance of repairing their relationship with William and Kate Middleton. According to the latest claim, restraint may be their best path toward rebuilding trust rather than fueling another media cycle.
Expert warns Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to ‘keep their mouths shut this time’ to heal Prince William rift
As per the Express report, the warning centered on Prince William’s trust. The outlet reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had been told that if they wanted William and Kate to “forgive and forget,” they would need to avoid overstepping again.
The report added that they risked having “no chance” of gaining William’s ear in the future. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams also suggested that the Sussexes should lay low in the Cotswolds.
Meanwhile, Fitzwilliams delivered a blunt warning, telling Express, “They have to keep their mouths shut this time.” He added that there should be no more “Oprah,” no more “Spare,” and no more complaining. According to the commentator, “trust and discretion” were the key words. He also claimed the Sussexes could be “unscrupulous and ruthless” when they wanted. However, he suggested that mutual friends could “act as a bridge” between William and Harry in the UK.
Other experts similarly described discretion as non-negotiable. Robert Jobson, author of “The Windsor Legacy,” said there must be “no further public commentary on the family.” He also called for “no sequel” and “no sit-down interviews about the rift.”
Meanwhile, Simon Vigar, author of “The Four Wives of Windsor,” pointed to the July Highgrove meeting, saying, “Trust is a very delicate thing.” Vigar noted that “nothing was leaked” from the meeting. However, a family friend told the BBC that William was “very stubborn” and “can’t just put it behind him.”
