Alan Ritchson’s Reacher will make his return in the upcoming Neagley spin-off. The spin-off series, set within the wider Reacher universe, was greenlit by Amazon in October 2024. All the episodes of the spin-off will premiere on Prime Video on September 16.
Reacher returns in Neagley spin-off later this month
Alan Ritchson’s next appearance as Jack Reacher after the end of Reacher Season 4 will happen in the Neagley spin-off. Notably, Season 5 of the Reacher series is speculated to arrive in late 2027.
The Neagley spin-off will debut with eight episodes that will drop on Prime Video on September 16, soon after Reacher Season 4 concludes. The spin-off will follow Maria Sten’s Frances Neagley, who could be seen alongside Reacher in the first-look images for the show released in June.
In addition to Sten, the series’ cast also includes Adeline Rudolph, Greyston Holt, Matthew Del Negro, Jasper Jones, and Damon Herriman.
In 2024, Amazon MGM Studios’ Vernon Sanders said that the decision to make a spin-off was easy, as the world of Reacher resonates with global audiences. He asserted that they were excited to expand “the storytelling and characters with a spin-off.” Sanders added that the studio was happy with the collaboration between Reacher showrunner Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton for the spin-off. He said they are confident the Neagley spin-off “will bring fresh energy and excitement to new and longtime fans alike.”
While speaking to EW in July, Sten spoke about her experiences working on her own character’s spin-off. Although she revealed she was excited about the project, she also described it as “nerve-wracking.” She added, “It’s very exciting to be given this opportunity, but of course there’s also a lot of pressure [that] I put on myself to do well and to carry on the legacy.”
