Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield told Page Six that school officials sent families in the Cotswolds a message outlining extra expectations for parents and carers. According to Schofield, the message warned that some new families could attract significant public and media attention. The school reportedly stressed that it wants every child to enjoy a “safe, happy, and private environment.”
Parents were also asked not to photograph or film other children without permission. The guidance reportedly told families not to share pupils’ photos, personal information, or family details on social media.
Schofield also said that according to a source, Harry and Meghan had approached several schools while exploring options for their children. Page Six did not name the school that sent the letter due to privacy concerns. The outlet also reported that Archie and Lilibet attend a different school from the one that issued the warning.
Harry and Meghan have raised their children in Montecito, California, for the past six years. They stepped down from their senior royal roles in 2020. Earlier this month, the couple announced plans to spend an extended period in Britain. They later left their $14-million Montecito home and traveled to the UK on a private charter.
The family has not publicly revealed their exact address in Britain. According to reports, Harry and Meghan could make the Cotswolds their new base. The area has long attracted wealthy and famous residents, including David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, and Simon Cowell.
Royal journalist Tom Sykes previously told Page Six that Harry had shown interest in the Cotswolds because of its ties to his childhood. King Charles and Queen Camilla also have their Highgrove residence nearby. Harry spent part of his childhood in the area with his father and older brother, Prince William. Sykes said the countryside may bring back happy memories for Harry, making it an appealing choice for his family.
