Prince Harry is reportedly ready to accept responsibility for his part in his long-running feud with Prince William as he tries to repair their relationship. The Duke of Sussex has returned to the UK and now faces one of his biggest challenges: rebuilding his strained relationship with his older brother.
Prince Harry is willing to take his share of the blame in Prince William feud, per source
Harry’s recent return to the UK has reportedly given him hope that he can reconnect with his family. However, royal experts say fixing his relationship with William will be much harder. The brothers have faced years of tension, and their relationship became more strained after Harry left his royal duties and moved to the US.
William’s absence during Harry’s recent UK visit also highlighted the distance between them. While Harry focused on family matters, William attended a charity polo match instead of joining the reunion. Harry has previously spoken publicly about their disagreements, including claims in his memoir Spare that William physically confronted him during an argument involving his wife. Their relationship also appeared particularly frosty during King Charles’ 2023 coronation. Since then, reports have suggested that William has shown little interest in repairing the relationship.
The timing could prove significant as the brothers approach the 30th anniversary of their mother Princess Diana’s death next year. An insider claimed Harry misses William and his sister-in-law and wants to see the family move forward. “He misses his brother and sister-in-law, and wants his father to see his sons at peace,” the source said, per Heatworld.
The source claims Harry is now willing to acknowledge his part in the conflict if it could help repair their relationship. “He was always having to be the bigger person when they were younger, or at least that’s how he tells it,” the insider said. “He says if he has to do that yet again to save the family, then he’s not opposed to it.”
