Prince Harry Eyes ‘More Foothold’ in UK After King Charles Reunion — Source

Prince Harry wants “more foothold” in the UK, according to reports. The Duke reportedly plans to visit the country “every few months” following his reunion with his father, King Charles. Harry is said to be all set to return to Britain in September for engagements related to the Invictus Games and a charity event for WellChild. Sources say the Duke of Sussex wants to mend his relationship with his father and see him more often. He also believes he can better support his UK-based charities through in-person meetings.

Prince Harry visited the UK in July 2026 and met his father, King Charles, after a long time. Since stepping down from senior royal duties in 2020, things have turned sour between Harry and the royal family. This was especially the case after Harry made bombshell claims and aired his grievances against the family in the Netflix docuseries. He also talked about family dynamics later in his memoir “Spare.”

However, Harry and Charles now reportedly want to work on their relationship and let bygones be bygones. A report by the Daily Mail suggests that Harry is set to visit the UK more frequently. According to the report, his last visit left him “buoyed.” The Duke is reportedly “very happy” and “energised” and wants to continue visiting his homeland.

A source told The Sunday Times, “The template for his visits has been working well, so the frequency of trips will increase, especially in the run-up to Invictus which he’s determined to make the best games yet. So he’ll be coming back and forth a lot more, every few months.”

The source continued that he wants his trips to have more focus on his patronages. Plus, he reportedly wants more of a “foothold” in the UK. Harry loves meeting his family and wants to have a better hold on his charity events. While it is confirmed he would visit the UK regularly, it is not yet clear whether he would reside at Buckingham Palace.
