An insider claims Princess Eugenie’s baby represents more than a family celebration
The claims come as Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are said to be eagerly awaiting the arrival of another child. Now, a source has told National Examiner that ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are delighted to become grandparents again and have embraced the news with excitement.
“They’re absolutely thrilled for Eugenie and very excited to be getting another grandchild,” the insider claimed. “They’re seeing this as an opportunity to try and build a bridge with [King] Charles and [Queen] Camilla and the rest of their extended family.”
According to the insider, Andrew has already been sharing updates about Eugenie’s pregnancy with family members he remains in contact with, as well as with certain palace staff. The insider alleged that Andrew and Ferguson hope the family’s newest addition could help improve their standing within royal circles.
“He and Sarah are definitely looking at this as a foot back in the door with the Firm,” the source claimed. While acknowledging that the baby’s arrival will not erase past controversies, the individual said the former couple remains hopeful that it could help create opportunities for renewed family interactions.
As per the source, Ferguson is also looking forward to supporting Eugenie after the baby arrives. The insider claimed she expects to spend significant time helping her daughter adjust to life with a newborn and hopes the occasion will also allow her to see Princess Beatrice and her children more frequently. “Sarah is convinced she’ll be spending plenty of time helping Eugenie once the baby arrives, and she’s hopeful that’ll mean she gets more time with Beatrice and her children, too,” the insider said.
As of now, neither Buckingham Palace nor representatives for Andrew, Ferguson, or Eugenie have publicly commented on the reported claims.
