Oprah ‘Isn’t Buying’ Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Recent Move — Source

Oprah Winfrey is reportedly not keen on doing a second interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. As per insiders, the Sussexes have suggested an exclusive second sit-down with the legendary media icon. Harry and Meghan seem to want to discuss the possibility of reconciliation and mending fences with the royal family rather than cribbing about their grievances. However, Winfrey “isn’t buying it.”

Sources say Oprah will not do second interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

As per Rob Shuter’s latest report, Oprah Winfrey will not host Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for a second round of a sit-down interview. A media insider revealed: “Harry and Meghan would love a Part Two. They’re talking again because they both have projects to promote, and they know interviews generate headlines. They hoped Oprah might be interested in a fresh chapter about healing. She isn’t.”

As per sources, Harry views his recent reconciliation with his father, King Charles, as a fresh new chapter in his longstanding relationship with the royal family. Markle, on the other hand, is celebrating her new career wins.

She recently bagged a Daytime Emmy nod for her now-defunct Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.” Not only that, she made a special appearance on MasterChef Australia’s July 26 episode.

Hence, the Sussexes are keen on doing another exclusive interview with Winfrey. However, the veteran talk show host is not interested, as she received a lot of brickbats for her first sit-down interview with the Sussexes.

Another source dished: “Oprah took plenty of criticism after the first special. She has absolutely nothing to gain by stepping back into the royal drama. As far as she’s concerned, that story has been told.”

The insider explained that Winfrey does not want to be part of the Sussexes’ new publicity campaign and wants to steer clear of the drama. The insider shared: “She’s not going back there. If Harry wants to promote Invictus or Meghan wants to plug her jams, that’s their business. Oprah doesn’t want to become part of their publicity strategy.”
