Leviticus’ Digital, 4K UHD & Blu-ray Release Gives Horror Fans New Way to Watch Movie

Neon has announced the Digital and physical media release dates for its horror film Leviticus. The announcement comes a little over a month after the film’s release in theaters. Adrian Chiarella‘s feature directorial debut was critically acclaimed upon release after premiering in the Midnight section of the Sundance Film Festival.

When are the digital, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray release dates for Leviticus?

Leviticus will be available on Digital on July 28 before it then comes to 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 8, 2026. The film’s home entertainment release will include several bonus features. These include a feature commentary with Adrian Chiarella, interviews with the director and the cast, an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette, and the official trailer.

When it was released, the film was praised by critics as one of the year’s best horror films. It debuted to an impressive 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, with 152 reviews. However, it did not follow in the footsteps of Obsession and Backrooms at the box office. Following its release, the film has grossed over $842,000 at the box office.

“The film follows two teenage boys living in a conservative Christian community in regional Victoria. When their attraction to each other is identified by the local pastor, the pair are subjected to a disturbing conversion ritual, which unknowingly releases a violent entity that terrorizes the town,” reads the synopsis.

“As Naim and Ryan attempt to survive the bigotry of their fellow town members, they must also defend themselves against the unleashed spiritual being that takes the form of the thing the boys desire most — each other.”

Leviticus is written and directed by Chiarella, with Kristina Ceyton, Samantha Jennings, and Hannah Ngo serving as producers. Neon acquired the distribution rights to the film in a seven-figure deal. Leviticus stars Joe Bird, Stacy Clausen, Mia Wasikowska, Ewen Leslie, Nicholas Hope, Jeremy Blewitt, Davida McKenzie, and Edwina Wren.
