The singer admitted he took that message personally and was touched by it. “I took this personally when I got the invite, because in the invite, it said, ‘If you’re getting this, you mean a lot to us.’” He attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding at New York City’s Madison Square Garden with his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, joining hundreds of celebrity guests at the highly anticipated ceremony.
According to Paisley, the wedding organizers revealed only limited information at first. Guests were told the date and given a rough idea of the location, but the exact venue remained a secret until later. He described the process as a “cat-and-mouse game,” explaining that guests were gradually given more details only after confirming their attendance. “If you’re in, we’ll tell you more. Then I went to my wife, I said, ‘Want to go?’ She’s like, ‘Absolutely. We’ve gotta be there.’ So we did it. It was RSVP yes.”
Swift and Kelce‘s wedding secrecy appears to have paid off. More than two weeks after the wedding, no unauthorized photos from the event had surfaced publicly. Moreover, guests have largely remained silent about what happened inside. Part of that discretion came from non-disclosure agreements signed by attendees.
American Century Investments CEO Jonathan Thomas, speaking on the July 17 episode of
“The Compound and Friends” podcast, said he would not discuss the agreement’s contents but noted that the NDA “had teeth,” suggesting it carried serious legal consequences.
Swift and Kelce’s wedding brought together an impressive list of celebrities. Among the attendees were Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, and Zoe Kravitz.
