Scott Baio has made an announcement on social media, hinting at a possible TV comeback in Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming Frisco King series. The caption reads, “I’m finally back home! #FriscoKing Coming Soon!” while also mentioning Samuel L. Jackson and Taylor Sheridan. The post quickly caught fans’ attention, and they speculated that Baio has joined the growing cast of the Tulsa King spinoff.

Now, Russell sets out to expand his criminal empire in Frisco, Texas. Sylvester Stallone plays Dwight in the original series, and this spinoff is expected to connect both shows.
The show also features a recurring cast of Tom Pecinka and Arturo Del Puerto. Other supporting cast members include Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann. The first season of Frisco King is expected to consist of eight episodes, all solely written by Taylor Sheridan. Sheridan also serves as an executive producer alongside Sylvester Stallone, Samuel L. Jackson, and several others.
Based on Sheridan’s Tulsa King series, Frisco King is produced by Paramount Pictures. Baio’s last starring television role was See Dad Run, which ended in 2015. If the Instagram post is indeed teasing his involvement, Frisco King would mark Baio’s first major TV project in more than a decade when it launches in 2027.
