The insiders claimed that an hour-long meeting took place between them and described it as “completely cloak-and-dagger, orchestrated by the king.” They revealed that Charles wanted to meet the grandchildren. They agreed upon an afternoon time on Friday at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire, England. “It was uncharacteristically last-minute for the king. Everyone was sworn to secrecy so that the meeting could remain private,” they added.
In addition, the source stated that Queen Camilla also drove to the residence at the last minute. She has been a strong supporter of King Charles amid the royal drama.
