Spider-Man: Brand New Day Runtime Report Gives Update on Post-Credits Plans

A recent report has revealed the runtime of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The reported runtime would make Tom Holland‘s upcoming Spider-Man film one of the longest entries in the franchise.

The runtime rumor hints at Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s post-credits plans

According to Cryptic4KQual on X, the runtime of Spider-Man: Brand New Day without credits is reportedly 2 hours and 15 minutes. This follows earlier reports that placed the movie’s total runtime between 2 hours 25 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes.

If the report is accurate, the movie will have around 9 to 10 minutes or more dedicated to credits and any scenes that accompany them. Marvel has not yet officially confirmed the runtime. Since Marvel has not confirmed the runtime, fans should treat the report as a rumor.

Spider-Man: No Way Home holds the longest overall runtime of 2 hours and 28 minutes. The report has fueled fan speculation that the film could include multiple post-credits scenes, given Marvel Studios’ history of including them.

According to reported plot details, the movie is set four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. It follows Peter Parker after Doctor Strange’s memory spell erased his identity from the world. Now living anonymously, Peter continues protecting New York City as Spider-Man while investigating a powerful new threat. Simultaneously, he must deal with a surprising and potentially dangerous evolution of his superpowers.

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker alongside Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. The cast also includes Mark Ruffalo as Hulk (Bruce Banner), Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle(The Punisher), and Sadie Sink in a major undisclosed role. While her exact role is still under wraps, reports indicate that she might be playing the powerful X-Men character Jean Grey. Other supporting staff include Michael Mando, Luke Goss, and Marvin Jones III.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will arrive in theaters on July 31, 2026, featuring Tom Holland in Spider-Man’s new suit.
