During The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelly spoke with The Michael Knowles. Their conversation covered several political topics before shifting toward Elliot Page’s latest projects. Kelly criticized Elliot Page’s role in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. She said, “The Odyssey which is very woke and absurd.”

Kelly also referred to Page as “a very unconvincing he” during the discussion. She further talked about the documentary Second Nature, narrated by Page. Kelly said the documentary explores same-sex relationships in animals.

She added, “The truth is literally no one on earth has given that any thought whatsoever.” Kelly also said, “Where do I find those two lesbo kangaroos?” The show also played a clip from Page’s interview.

In the video, Page said, “Looking at nature as if it’s some sort of cis heteropatriarchal structure is absurd.” Page also said the gender binary is “nothing but a quaint little myth.” He added, “What we have been taught in school… is just completely false.”

After the clip ended, Kelly quickly fired back. She repeated what the actor said in the interview, saying, “Looking at nature as some cis heteropatriarchal structure is absurd.” She then jokingly added, “Michael, you are absurd.” Knowles also shared his reaction during the discussion.

He said, “What’s so stunning to me about what she says is she’s burning down a straw man.” He argued schools never taught that men were superior. Knowles also criticized Page’s claims, saying, “It’s not convincing at all.” He later added, “It really might destroy Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.”

Page’s casting in The Odyssey continues creating debate online. The reactions includes criticism, support, and plenty of discussion across social media. Despite the ongoing online debate surrounding Page’s casting, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey remains one of the year’s most highly anticipated films.

The film is set for a worldwide release on July 17, with excitement among fans continuing to build ahead of its release.
