Travis Kelce’s friend, retired NFL player Will Compton, called out the Chiefs TE for not sending him a wedding invite. Dave Portnoy called Compton on Monday’s Wake Up Barstool episode to discuss his absence from Taylor Swift and Kelce’s lavish wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3 in New York City.
Will Compton said he was stunned that other Tight End University attendees were invited
Travis Kelce’s friend Will Compton revealed he was surprised that he didn’t receive a wedding invite to Kelce’s wedding to Taylor Swift. Portnoy and his colleagues from Wake Up Barstool called Compton to get an insight into the issue. Compton began by saying he was running on the treadmill.
Furthermore, Compton candidly revealed: “I’m going to be honest, I didn’t think anything of it. All of these photos I keep seeing. I see [Fox Sports rules analyst] Dean Blandino got an invitation? Is that real?” Compton emphasized that he is a big “Tight End U guy.” For those unversed, this is in reference to the annual three-day summer training camp founded by Kelce, George Kittle, and Greg Olsen.
The Bussin’ With The Boys co-host expressed shock at not being invited, given that he and Kelce had known each other for years. Compton shared with Portnoy: “As I’ve been seeing the photos of everybody else at that wedding, I’m kind of flabbergasted I didn’t get that invite.” Portnoy described the situation as “stunning.”
Interestingly, Kelce has guested on Compton’s Bussin’ With The Boys podcast with Taylor Lewan several times. Previously, Page Six reported that approximately 1,000 guests were in attendance. These included Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, and Gigi Hadid from Swift’s side. Kelce’s side included Chiefs coach Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and George Kittle, amongst others. Previously, the couple hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Infosys Theater for about 100 people. The guests reportedly received embroidered handkerchiefs with the couple’s names printed on them.
Moreover, The Beatles’ star Paul McCartney performed the group’s beloved hit “I Want to Hold Your Hand” (via PEOPLE).
