It was said that celebrities and socialites seemed eager to attend the year’s highly anticipated ceremony. Many A-listers “quietly” attempted to secure an invitation. “Actors, musicians, billionaires, television stars—people were calling favors and working every connection they had. Getting invited became a status symbol,” a source added.
According to one insider, Meghan Markle, too, expected an invitation. But Swift and Kelce didn’t reportedly want people at their wedding for “headlines.” “They invited the people they genuinely wanted to celebrate with,” they said.
