According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Fatu noted that the marriage was “irretrievably broken” and that “there are no prospects for a reconciliation.” Fatu also provided an update on her living situation with Uso, adding that the two “are presently living in a bona fide state of separation.”

Fatu and Uso have two children, Jaciyah and Jeyce. In the court filings, Fatu seeks primary physical custody of the children, but is also open to joint legal custody. She is also requesting the exclusive use of the Georgia house that she shares with her husband, along with child and spousal support, and attorney fees.

Most recently, Uso hinted at sparking up a romance with WWE star Jaida Parker after being spotted with her on numerous occasions. Uso seemingly confirmed the relationship by writing on an Instagram story, “Yeah, she’s mines…” While appearing on the Night Cap podcast, Uso added, “Do I gotta say it though? Ya’ll see. She the baddest woman down there.”

Uso and Fatu met as students at Escambia High School. To support Jey’s career in wrestling, Fatu stayed as a homemaker. “She gets me ready for this, every single week, and she has for the past 10 years,” Uso told People in a 2024 interview. According to the court filings, Uso and Fatu, then Takecia Travis, tied the knot on February 13, 2014.

Most recently, Main Event Jey Uso wrestled against Oba Femi in the King of the Ring finals at Night of Champions, which he eventually lost. In the following week’s Friday Night Smackdown, he faced Cody Rhodes in a losing effort and lost his chance to face Sami Zayn for the WWE Championship at the coming week’s Monday Night Raw.

At the time of writing, Uso has not offered a comment on the matter.
