Prince Harry’s Children May Miss Another Chance to See King Charles

A recent report suggests that Prince Harry may not be accompanied by Meghan Markle or their kids on his trip to London this month. Their plans appear disrupted by the ongoing security concerns. Earlier, it was known that Harry was trying to make the security arrangements work out to make the visit happen for the entire family.

Prince Harry will visit London without Meghan Markle and kids

According to PEOPLE, Meghan Markle and kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will not be coming to London with Prince Harry this month. However, it remains unclear if they will join him for the other aspects of his UK visit. Earlier, Harry hoped that this meeting could potentially allow the kids to get more familiar with his home country. He also wanted them to spend time with King Charles. Now, those plans appear to be in jeopardy over security issues.

A statement shared with CBS earlier revealed that Harry “continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK.” However, another source previously told The Guardian that the visit, including the family, may not happen, as tax-funded security hasn’t been granted. The source claimed that the Duke of Sussex is trying to ensure proper security arrangements so his family remains protected during the visit.

Moreover, they also stated that he’s upset over not being provided with tax-funded security. The royalty has only provided them with royal accommodation and security on that property, not beyond that. However, Harry doesn’t intend for his kids to be followed by media and paparazzi from the moment they step into the country, says the source. Another source told Page Six earlier that Harry and Meghan were planning to bring their own security as well. They were reportedly expecting a “huge spectacle.”
