However, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were reportedly absent from the party. One source claimed, “Blake and Ryan will never forgive Taylor for this.” The insider added they felt “completely humiliated” because “everyone noticed” they were not there.
Meanwhile, another insider said the optics created their own story: “When virtually every major celebrity in Hollywood is under one roof,” questions start fast. The insider noted, “The optics couldn’t have been worse.” Shuter also pointed to the pair’s past closeness with the Grammy winner, recalling Swift had been godmother to the couple’s daughters. The report also noted the families once vacationed and celebrated holidays together before the alleged distance grew.
The source thus framed the missing invite as a message.
