Expert advises Meghan Markle to not use UK trip to promote things for her betterment
Meghan Markle would reportedly accompany Prince Harry on his UK trip. Allegedly, the Duke of Sussex has planned to bring his wife and kids (Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet) to his homeland and reunite with his father, King Charles. Although the Sussexes have not yet confirmed their arrival, an expert shared their thoughts on Markle’s public image in Britain.
Brand and culture expert Nick Ede told the Daily Express that the “Suits” alum should keep three things in mind. The first two were to resume charity work and support causes close to her heart. It would reportedly help to reshape Markle’s reputation. Furthermore, he advised her to steer clear of one move. It seemed to involve using her UK visit to “promote things” for her benefit.
“A successful return would focus on meaningful charitable engagements, supporting causes close to her heart and avoiding any perception that the visit is being used to promote a brand, project or media venture,” Ede said.
Meanwhile, another royal expert and author, Ingrid Steward, suggested the opposite. She told The Mirror that the 44-year-old could reportedly benefit from her upcoming visit. Markle could allegedly build some royal connections.
“It could be a very good move for her business, but it leaves her with a bit of a crisis because coming to a country where she is so disliked won’t be easy,” Steward added.
