Moon Knight‘s next appearance in the MCU may be sooner than expected. A new rumor has hinted at the project in which Oscar Isaac‘s Egyptian superhero could return.
What is the rumor regarding Moon Knight’s next MCU appearance?
Recently, scooper Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus was asked about Moon Knight’s next appearance. There are still questions hanging in the air about a potential Season 2 or the long-rumored Midnight Sons project. However, Perez is now hinting that the character could show up in Daredevil: Born Again.
When asked where Moon Knight will show up again, Perez answered, “Daredevil, if he follows the path Khonshu had planned out for him, that would take him to New York.” It should be noted that this is only a rumor and should be treated as such, as details about the character’s MCU future remain under wraps by Marvel Studios at this time. Regardless, Oscar Isaac’s return to the role still seems doubtful, if the show’s producers are to be believed.

Moon Knight debuted on Disney+ in 2022 with six episodes, ending with a tease for Steven Grant/Marc Spector’s next adventure. The final scene of the series showed a new personality emerging within the hero, introducing the much more violent Jake Lockley, who kills Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow. It is revealed that while Spector and Grant were released from their deal with Khonshu, Lockley was not. The latter is now working with the Egyptian god, keeping the Moon Knight persona alive.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 will bring back many players from Marvel’s Netflix era, including all of the Defenders and even Elektra, as seen from recent set photos. Moon Knight exists at the intersection of the MCU’s street-level and supernatural corners, so fans could find it intriguing to see the superhero in the gritty, mature world of Daredevil.
Moon Knight and Daredevil: Born Again are streaming on Disney+.
