A new source claimed the project is more than luxury real estate. The report framed it as a legacy move, with insiders pointing to Mar-a-Lago. It also highlighted security, privacy, influence, and the Miami build’s future social footprint.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are said to be thinking big about their next estate move
As per Rob Shuter’s Substack, the couple is planning to move to Florida. The estate is reportedly being built on Miami’s Indian Creek Island. A real-estate insider said, “This isn’t about luxury.” The source added that it was “about legacy.” According to the insider, Bezos wants a property that people will be discussing “50 years from now.” The report said he assembled architects, engineers, designers, and security experts for three waterfront lots.
Meanwhile, the report claimed that insiders were already comparing the scale to that of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. One source said, “Trump owns the most famous estate in the state.” The insider added, “Jeff wants to build the most extraordinary one.” The property is expected to include resort-style amenities, waterfront views, gardens, and private entertainment spaces. Security was also described as central to the plan. A source called it “a fortress disguised as a paradise.” Insiders said the project could become one of Florida’s most-watched private builds.
Still, Sanchez was described as heavily involved in the estate vision. One insider called it “their forever home.” The source said Sanchez wanted the property to reflect “the life they’re creating together.” Another insider claimed Miami circles were joking she was becoming “the First Lady of Florida.” The report also said people were asking “bigger questions” because of the project’s scale. One source said, “Today it’s Florida.” Then, the insider added, “Tomorrow? Who knows.”
