Derek Hough has an obvious advice for DWTS Season 35 participants
Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough had a somewhat obvious piece of advice for the participants of Season 35. The long-time pro believes that the only way the star-studded cast of the show was going to move forward was by leaving it all on the stage.
“You better get ready to work. That’s it,” Hough said to the contestants who are participating in the 35th season of the show at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of his new movie, The Symphony of Dance. “I mean that jokingly, but also seriously (via E! News).”
So far, Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, and Jackson Olson have been announced as a part of the cast.
Hough seems to have no have any doubts about the three contestants who have been announced. “That’s who we’re casting now: People who are in it to win it,” Hough said about Olson, Miller, and Higgins, “who want the full process, who want the full experience. So, be prepared.”
During the discussion, Hough also reminded the contestants that, despite the allure of winning, the real prize of the contest is the entire journey. “It’s the most fulfilling experience you’ll ever have,” he said, “if you really put your everything into it.”
Dancing with the Stars Season 35 is still several months away. It is expected to premiere in the spring of 2026. Meanwhile, Hough remains engaged in the promotion of The Symphony of Dance.
