Per the news outlet, the chef and restaurateur shared, “They made their kitchen the meeting place like every other family.” He continued, “I love how Meghan interacts with her children and food.”
In the meantime, Andrés further spoke to the news outlet about what a meeting with Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, feels like. The chef explained, “When we see each other or when we have conversations, we talk about what everybody else talks [about], right?” He added, “Life, family, good times, new dish, new restaurant.”
Meanwhile, as reported by the news outlet, José Andrés also discussed how the Sussexes often reach out to him whenever disasters occur, while talking about his World Central Kitchen, which helps communities impacted by disasters by providing meals. The chef said, “In the worst moments of humanity, you see the best of humanity shows up,” while referring to the organization. He then revealed that during such time, the royal couple had asked him, “What can we do here, and can we help you?”
José Andrés further said to the news outlet, “Nobody finds out about those moments, and they do it often, all the time.” The chef then explained that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry “are always caring about all the things happening in the world.” He continued, “They don’t have to do that.” “They sincerely do it because they care,” also added the chef.
