Jennifer Aniston Reportedly Told Jim Curtis: ‘I Can’t Marry You Right Now’

Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis are reportedly hitting pause on wedding plans as they navigate questions about timing, careers, and where they would build a future together. While the couple remains committed to one another, a new report claims the actress has made it clear that marriage is not a priority right now.

According to a source cited by “Star”, the actress still sees Curtis as her long-term partner but wants to focus on work before planning a wedding. The insider alleged that Aniston recently made that clear to Curtis.

“Jen still sees Jim as the person she wants to grow old with, but right now there’s no room in her schedule for a wedding,” the source claimed. “She wants it to be special and not rushed. Jen’s had to tell Jim in no uncertain terms, ‘I can’t marry you’ — not right now, anyway.”

The source also claimed that some of Aniston’s friends support the decision. They reportedly felt the relationship was moving too fast and believed slowing things down made more sense. According to the insider, no one wants the couple to split, but some questioned the idea of rushing into marriage after less than a year together.

The report also pointed to a possible disagreement over where they would live long-term. Curtis reportedly remains tied to New York, while Aniston prefers Los Angeles. The source alleged that discussions about a full-time move to New York have yet to produce a clear answer.

Work remains another major factor. Aniston continues to juggle acting, producing, and running her LolaVie haircare brand while filming The Morning Show. The insider claimed those commitments leave little time for wedding preparations.

Despite the reported hurdles, the source insisted the couple is still happy together. However, with wedding plans on hold and several major decisions still unresolved, Curtis is reportedly worried about what the delay could mean for their future.
