Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reignited their romance in 2021, seventeen years after their first engagement ended. When they tied the knot, fans were certain that it was the A-listers’ happily ever after. Unfortunately, they split in 2025. The divorce was finalized in early 2025, but Lopez is reportedly still struggling to move on.
A source told Closer Weekly, “The problem is she’s not in a great place right now. She’s putting on a good show, but behind the scenes, things are still pretty emotionally chaotic. She goes from saying she’s over Ben and is better off without him to crying over a memory of something they did together. It could be the smallest thing, and it will make her get teary-eyed.”
The source further explained that this conflict of emotions is making it harder for Lopez to move on. “In that sense, it’s going to be hard for her to start something new,” the insider said. “She’s not really open. But at the same time, most people in her life agree that falling for someone new – as long as that new man treats her well – could be the best thing for her.”
