Kendall Jenner reportedly feared her mom could complicate her new romance before it settled. The supermodel was said to be keeping Jacob Elordi away from Kris Jenner for now. The concern reportedly centered on privacy, family TV pressure, and possible “The Kardashians” storylines. Kendall’s relationship with the “Euphoria” actor has gained attention after recent public sightings. However, the latest claim suggested she wanted control first. It also put Kris’ producer role back in focus.
Kendall Jenner doesn’t want mom Kris Jenner ‘meddling’ in Jacob Elordi relationship, per source
According to In Touch Weekly, Kendall Jenner was “very” into Jacob Elordi. However, the insider claimed she did not want her “meddling” momager, Kris Jenner, involved. The report said the model had “refused” to introduce Kris to the actor, with a source explaining, “She’s afraid of what her mom will say.” The insider also pointed to control and noted Kris could still “make it a plot line” on “The Kardashians.”
Meanwhile, the report tied the worry to the family’s Hulu business. As per In Touch Weekly, another source claimed Kris faced “massive pressure” to deliver ratings and pushed her daughters “non-stop” toward attention-grabbing moments. That made Kendall more protective of her new relationship. According to the source, she had been “throwing such a huge fit” and had made “threats” about leaving the show. That would reportedly happen if anyone mentioned Elordi, or “let alone mentions his name.”
The report also claimed the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch viewed the reaction as too much. The insider said Kris was “rolling her eyes” and called Kendall “way too dramatic and ridiculous.” The momager compared the situation to Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet. The source said Chalamet’s name was mentioned on the show. The insider added, “It’s not a big deal for him.” Elordi, like Chalamet, has Oscar-level attention around him. For now, Kendall’s reported intention has been clear. She wanted her mom away from the romance.
