Ray J Hospitalized After Brutal MMA Knockout — Report

Ray J has been hospitalized following his brutal match with DeWayne DeShawn Stevenson, aka Supa Hot Fire. The duo squared off over the weekend at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, with the event hosted by Adin Ross under his promotional banner, “Brand Risk Promotions.” Moreover, Ross looks forward to investigating the MMA match after Ray J commented on its legitimacy.

Ray J reportedly hospitalized after MMA fight

TMZ reported that Ray J has been hospitalized in a Vegas hospital after the MMA event against Supa Hot Fire. Sources close to Ray J told the outlet that he wasn’t taken to the hospital immediately, but made the decision two hours after the fight.

According to the reports, tests are being conducted to determine whether there are any underlying injuries or conditions. The sources claim that the medical team is looking to see if he suffered any concussion. Moreover, it also mentioned that he’s experiencing a slow heartbeat.

Following the match, Ross revealed that his team will be investigating the match between the duo, as a lot of speculation that it was partially staged has surfaced after Ray J’s post-fight reaction. Ray J didn’t seem very happy with the results and confronted Stevenson after their bout.

At one point, he claimed to Stevenson that “they had a plan.” This was interpreted in several contexts, including the possibility that the match was scripted. He also appeared disappointed by the loss of money linked to the fight.

Ross said in a livestream, “Ray J obviously what he said after the fight… Supahot not throwing a fucking punch like in the first round, we need to look into that. We need to investigate that” (via Complex). Although he appreciated Supa Hot Fire’s fighting skills, he is aware that the differences in performance from round to round might have made people suspicious. Therefore, they are seriously looking into the matter.
