However, this particular photo drew immense backlash across social media platforms as netizens scrutinized how the royal family member was holding the hammer.

Prince William posted the photo with the caption, “Opening homes committed to by @theduchyofcornwall as a step towards easing housing pressures on the Isles of Scilly. These sustainable houses, the first built on the island for 20 years, support the future of island life, available to those who have lived on Scilly for more than five years or who currently work there.”

But it seems that the context of the post was entirely ignored. Instead, the photo with the Prince holding the hammer became the primary talking point.

“All the money in the world and still can’t seem to buy those nail and hammer lessons, eh?” one user wrote on the post. ” Another user commented, “There’s time to delete the first photo.”
